What are your mornings like?
Mine are....GREAT! Don't get me wrong I am NOT a morning person at all but lately, maybe it's the change in season, but I'm loving spending more time in bed, cuddling with Tod. I bring Kyri into our bed in the morning to feed her and get some extra cuddle time in before I shower and take the kids to school.
If I'm lucky my wonderful husband makes me a morning shake, which I drink 15 minutes after my warm lemon water. The shake includes Vega, spirulina, maca, chlorella, 1 banana, berries, and coconut water. Energy, energy and more energy! Probably 5 minutes after my first sip of my morning shake I literally get a boost of energy and feel great. I finish my shake and get my morning cleaning done, though a load of laundry in and play with my cutesy. I drink a shake before every Zumba class.
(I love this shake because it doesn't have veggies in it.....I'm just being honest. I save those for dinner time)
Seth had a shake too this morning and vacuumed the house, which is his weekend chore. With a bit of guidance he does a great job. I usually let him watch a movie or a TV show after that. Kyri always goes down for her morning nap around 10-10:30AM and during that time I am able to finish up some last minute tidying, laundry, and then I play around on here. The shake definitely helps boost my mood but so does the lemon water on it's own.
We are going to the West Edmonton Mall soon so my parents gave me my birthday/Christmas present early. A brand new camera! It's a Canon PowerShot SX500 IS with 30x optical zoom. That might not mean anything to most of you but it means awesome sauce pictures to me! I am working on learning more about aperture and lighting (shallow depth of field), the ISO and MACRO settings and the shutter speed. So much to learn. I am excited to take pictures of our trip. I took a couple pictures with the new camera this morning to show you.
Pre-work Out & Morning Shake
Our family drinks this shake before strenuous workouts to help give us a boost of real energy. Ask my Zumba ladies if I have energy during class! My husband also drinks this shake and then runs 40km+ each week.
